Google apologized to clients who discovered their Gmail inbox discharge after the record was unintentionally wiped clean.
It says the messages are "never lost" and that "everything will come back to typical for everybody soon."

It rebuked a product bug for the episode and said just 0.02% of Gmail customers were influenced.
At first it was said that under 0.08% of its 170 million clients were influenced.
